Bullet points are useful for organizing a list in reports, plans, contracts, meeting minutes, etc., but not in a presentation. A presentation aims to connect with the audience to convey the message through a story supported by the visual elements of the slides.

Stories are not told through lists but in a continuous manner following a story line that connects a series of events, milestones, facts, matters, … Instead of bullets, other elements such as colors, images, icons, shapes, … related and integrated in the story, can be used.
